The Nike Dunk is, without a doubt, one of the most recognisable trainer models of all time. The Dunk was the first shoe to have the brand's signature team colours when it debuted in 1985; it has since become an instant classic thanks to iconic iterations like the Dunk "Kentucky," "Michigan," "Syracuse," and "Brazil." Both the high-top and low-top versions of the Dunk, which were made specifically for the sport, quickly became standard issue for players. It's also worth noting that Peter Moore, who also worked on the Air Jordan 1, another cult favourite, drew inspiration for his design from the Dunk's aesthetic.
